About Mirage
Mirage was founded in 1975 and is a highlight of Austin’s vibrant and active belly dance community, continuing our proud history as one of the longest running belly dance performance venues in the country.
Performance Schedule
Mirage performs at 7:30 pm every other Thursday evening during the academic year at the Texas Union on the University of Texas at Austin campus. Visit our calendar for a detailed performance schedule including our special guests.
Informal Classes
If you’re interested in learning to belly dance, Mirage members teach belly dance classes held as part of the Texas Union’s Informal Classes schedule. Please visit the Informal Classes website for scheduling information. Classes are available for beginning and intermediate dancers.
